Concepts for Coaches Contract and Terms & Conditions

This contract outlines the responsibilities of both parties (PROGRAM and STUDENT), limitations of the services provided by the program, and course and program policies.

PROGRAM refers to courses created and taught by Gloria Walker as Concepts for Coaches.

STUDENT refers to an individual who registers for a course or is granted access.

COURSE refers to an individual course offered by the PROGRAM and taught by Gloria Walker.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONCEPTS FOR COACHES/GLORIA WALKER COACHING/GLORIA WALKER (PROGRAM)

PROGRAM agrees to:

  1. Provide the number of classes described in the course specific information and marketing material.
  2. Teach the subject matter as described in the course description.
  3. Maintain a safe and supportive space for STUDENTS to learn, discuss, and practice the tools presented in the course.
  4. Protect STUDENT privacy by not sharing call recordings outside of the course, or share any coaching details, other than anonymous summaries of STUDENT experiences, with any other party.
  5. Maintain a safe learning environment. PROGRAM reserves the right to stop any practice coaching, whether by PROGRAM or a STUDENT if the individual being coached is apparently triggered or experiencing difficulty.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF YOU AS THE STUDENT

STUDENT agrees to:

  1. Pay the agreed upon course fee at time of registration.
  2. Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all other participants in the course.
  3. Maintain a respectful and safe learning environment for all participants and for PROGRAM in all platforms of the course including, but not limited to live Zoom classes, the private course Facebook Group page, email or other electronic communications, including social media.
  4. Be responsible for their own success in the course.
  5. Use the course material responsibly with clients in their own practice as a coach.

DISCLAIMERS/LIMITATIONS OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY PROGRAM

  1. PROGRAM and its instructors are not psychologists or therapists and do not present themselves as such.
  2. PROGRAM teaches psychology-based concepts and tools but does not offer psychological treatment or advice.
  3. Any coaching that occurs within the course, whether from PROGRAM or another STUDENT is not intended to be, or replace, psychological counseling or treatment.
  4. PROGRAM offers professional development courses for coaches. It teaches specific well-established tools and techniques for coaches to learn and use, at their discretion, in their own coaching practices. It is not intended to be used as a means of obtaining coaching.
  5. PROGRAM is not responsible for the STUDENT learning the material. It is up to the STUDENT to attend classes, review materials, and ask questions.
  6. PROGRAM makes no promises or guarantees related to success or outcomes for STUDENT coaching practice/business.
  7. PROGRAM reserves the right to make alterations or updates to the course content or schedule if reasonably required to do so.
  8. Upon completion of the course STUDENT will be moved from the registered course to the "Lifetime Access" version of the course. Lifetime Access refers to the lifetime of the product or course.
  9. PROGRAM reserves the right to remove any STUDENT who engages in threatening behavior or verbally accosts another STUDENT or the PROGRAM or otherwise violates these terms and conditions. If removed, STUDENT will lose access to all content and calls with no refunds.

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

  1. Payment must be made in full prior to student access to the course and its materials.
  2. PROGRAM offers a full refund until one day after the second class meeting. Thereafter no refunds shall be granted.
  3. Refund will only be granted if STUDENT has attended at least one of the first two classes and reviewed course material for both classes on the course site.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  1. PROGRAM teaches established psychology and coaching based tools and methods. As such the concepts do not belong to Gloria Walker; however, all course materials, including but not limited to course structure and organization, course concept, videos, handouts, and slide decks ARE the property of Gloria Walker and Concepts for Coaches.
  2. All material is the property of Gloria Walker and may not be shared in any way with anyone else unless with the written consent of Gloria Walker.
  3. Nothing in this Agreement shall transfer ownership of or rights to any intellectual property of PROGRAM to STUDENT, nor grant any right or license other than those stated in this Agreement.

PARTICIPANT PRIVACY

  1. All STUDENTS agree to maintain confidentiality for all other STUDENTS in the PROGRAM.
  2. STUDENT shall not share class recordings, coaching practice experiences, conversations, or information from the private Facebook Group page.

Should any of the terms in this contract be violated, PROGRAM reserves the right to use legal recourse and will require compensation for resultant legal fees.
